Connecting Ai2000 Data to Copilot Studio via Custom MCP Connector

Copilot Studio → Agents → Create blank agent → Tools → Add a tool → Add new MCP Release 29.0 This document describes the steps required to connect an Ai2000 database to Microsoft Copilot Studio as a custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector. Once connected, an agent can query Ai2000 data in plain English directly from within Copilot Studio. The connection is read-only and runs only SELECT queries against the database.

Copilot Studio is not the same product as Copilot Chat (the Copilot icon found on the Windows taskbar). This guide applies only to Copilot Studio, which is the platform used for building custom agents.

Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any output produced by Copilot before relying on it for business, financial, operational, or reporting purposes. Critical figures should always be crosschecked against the source data within Ai2000.
