Claude Desktop → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector Release 29.0 This document describes the steps required to connect an Ai2000 database to the Claude desktop application using a custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector. Once connected, users can query Ai2000 data in plain English directly from Claude. The connection is read-only and runs only SELECT queries against the database.

Navigate to https://code.claude.com/docs/en/desktop-quickstart and download the version of the Claude desktop application that matches the operating system in use (macOS or Windows). Install the application and sign in. If a Claude account does not yet exist, one can be created during sign-in.
