When a 3PL sends a 945 that errors due to a missing Ship via, SCAC, unknown code or incorrect code, a user can now correct the issue from the EDI Control Panel without having to modify the raw data and reimport the document.
If an EDI 945 pick ticket is hung up due to an invalid Ship Via, the system will allow you to select the error message button and set up an XREF for the information sent on the: W27.01, W27.02, W27.03 and W27.04 segments of the 945. Any subsequent pick ticket that has the same issue will also use the Ship Via that was previously assigned. The process works similar to that of the EDI PO XREF and how they function.
When a PT errors dude to SCAC issue, you can launch the override form the right arrow icon of the error message.
A popup will display where you can select the Ship Via code to use for that EDI Carrier string.
Once applied, you can reprocess the PT as normal.
