A/R→A/R Cash Receipts → Application Worksheet

The A/R Application Worksheet program is a multi-component, fully functional document applicationprocessing program. In addition to the full application of existing credits and debit documents, the program provides on form creation and immediate application of deductions, discounts, credits, and chargebacks.

Note: If the Application worksheet is accessed through the AR Cash Receipt batch the relevant header information will populate based off the AR receipt.

Worksheet Header

W/S#: System generated sequential number assigned to the worksheet once saved.

Description: Optional to input a description up to 30 characters. If not entered the system will automatically generate the description as USER, DATE, TIMESTAMP, and CORP.

Ref Receipt: This field is only used when populating from Cash Receipts Batch.

Customer: Required field to choose the customer.

Corp: Required field to enter the Corporation.

Period Date: Optional to enter a period date otherwise system will use today’s date.

Currency: Optional to assign the currency for the application.

Status: System maintained status field will display either Open or Posted.

Populating the Worksheet

The Populate button located on the upper portion of the worksheet provides document selection parameters for retrieving the documents (detail lines) for processing.

The user may accept the default of 『 All to retrieve all open documents or select one or more document types from the available options (Invoices, Credit Memos, On-Account Payments, Chargebacks, Credit-backs, Manual Invoices and/or Bounced checks) to specify the retrieval.

The $\mathbb{Z}$ Invoice option when selected provides two range selection fields for optionally limiting the range of invoices retrieved for processing as well as a Selector option for further defining the criteria for population.
